Dr. Pezeshkian underscored the strategic importance of Razi Institute as one of the two primary centers for producing essential vaccines in the country. He called for a strategic framework to elevate the institute’s profile on both regional and international stages.
During the meeting, a report detailing Razi Institute's performance, achievements, and challenges was presented. The board also approved several executive regulations designed to improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the session included discussions on the institute’s future outlook for 2025 and solutions to support its advancement.
The session was attended by key officials, including Dr. Gholam Reza Nouri Ghezeljeh, Minister of Agriculture-Jahad, Dr. Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, Minister of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Dr. Gholam Reza Golmohammadi, President of the Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension Organization (AREEO), Dr. Alireza Rafiei Pour, President of Iran Veterinary Organization (IVO), Dr. Ali Es-haghi, Director General of Razi Institute and other board members.
It is noteworthy that this meeting took place in the office of the Iranian President and marked the first board meeting of Iranian New Year.
