According to the public relations report of Razi Institute, on the occasion of Research Week, a ceremony to honor the winners of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO) slogan "Driving Production, Productivity and Food Security" was held with the presence of Dr. Seyed Mojtabi Khayyam Nekoui, Deputy Minister of Agriculture- Jahad and President  of AREEO, Dr. Ali Es-haghi, Director General of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, the AREEO's deputies and heads of other research production centers at the conference hall of this organization.

At the ceremony, Dr Ali Shirazi Nejad, head of the Shiraz branch, was honored as the top researcher for the RVSRI branch's success in producing the country's first ornithobacterium tracheal vaccine.

Speaking on the sidelines of the ceremony, Dr Shirazi Nejad said: This vaccine was produced using a unique technology. It has the least amount of antigen and produces the most antibodies, and so far four million doses have been marketed. He described this success as the result of the round-the-clock efforts of the research team and staff of the Shiraz Branch and the "Ornithobacterium rhinotracheal vaccine" was mass produced in 2022 by  Shiraz Branch of RVSRI.
