The event brought together high-ranking officials and department managers from Razi Institute, along with six Senegalese experts who are participating in a 5-day training workshop from February 26 to March 4, 2024.
Dr. Rainak Ghaderi, Head of Academic Relations and International Affairs, opened the event by welcoming the Senegalese guests and expressed gratitude to all attendees. He provided a brief overview of Razi Institute and outlined the agenda for the training course during the 5-day program. Dr. Ghaderi anticipated economic collaborations as a potential outcome of this training course. He was of the opinion that through conducting such training sessions, the two countries could come to a mutual understanding and agreement concerning scientific, technological, and economic partnerships and ties.
Following the introduction, the Senegalese experts then introduced themselves, sharing insights into their studies and expertise.
The Senegalese trainees will receive training on various aspects of the vaccine field throughout the course. This initiative aims to enhance knowledge exchange between Iran and Senegal in the scientific and technological domains.
The Senegalese delegate visited the Museum of RVSRI, where they were introduced to the rich and impactful history of Razi Institute and its life-saving products.
