According to the public relations office of Razi Institute, Dr. Seyed Reza Bani Hashemi, the Director of Research and Development, along with a delegation of managers, researchers, and private sector investors, visited research centers, gene banks, biotechnology facilities, industrial agriculture institutes, vaccine production centers, and the Academy of Sciences in China.

This mission, led by Dr. Kazem Khavazi, Vice Minister and Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture- Jahad, took place with the aim of the Iranian delegation's participation in the fifth meeting of the Joint Committee on Iran-China Cooperation. In a meeting attended by Dr. Khavazi, Ma Youxiang, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China, and Iran's Ambassador to China, all parties focused on enhancing mutual agricultural cooperation between the two countries, culminating in the signing of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the agricultural sector.
