The Representative of the World Health Organization in Iran visited  Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute and stated that he was impressed by the extent of the activities of this institute and said: Considering the complex emergency conditions of many Eastern Mediterranean countries,  Razi Institute  is very useful for this region.
According to the Public Relations report of Razi Institute, Dr. Seyed Jaafar Hossein, the Representative of the World Health Organization in Iran, who visited the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute with a delegation, said on the sidelines of the visit: Razi Institute is not only capable of producing its human vaccines, but it also produces animal and poultry vaccines and is a suitable reference for dealing with common diseases between humans and animals.
He stated: Considering the existing facilities and the ability to produce more advanced vaccines in the future at the Razi Institute, this institute can support not only Iranian institutions, but also institutions outside the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Representative of the World Health Organization in Iran stated that this issue is very useful for our region and clarified: Many foreign countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region are facing many complex emergency situations and lack the science and capacity to produce the vaccines they need. They do not have and cannot engage in research and development activities in this field, so Razi Institute can be very useful for the region.
