According to the Public Relations report of Razi Institute, Dr. Hamid Jafari , the Director of Polio Eradication in WHO's Eastern Mediterranean Region visited Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute and called the  Razi  institute an iconic center and said: This institute is known for its expertise and vaccine production.
He said: One of Razi's greatest achievements is the production of an oral polio vaccine, which led to the elimination of polio in the country,  Iran has made very rapid progress in eradicating polio, and this is due to the use of the vaccine produced at Razi's institute.
The Director of Polio Eradication in WHO's Eastern Mediterranean region stated that there is a deep history of cooperation between the Razi Institute and the WHO and clarified: Razi Institute is also a leader in the production of other childhood vaccines such as Mumps, Measles and Rubella vaccines and the Corona vaccine has also produced; therefore, this institute is the only institute in the Eastern Mediterranean region with 22 member countries that successfully produces many vaccines that are used in the childhood immunization program in our region.
