PRESENTING A CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OF RAZI INSTITUTE BY THE AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND EXTENSION ORGANIZATION
The meeting of  the directors of international affairs institutes and centers of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO) was held on 22 January,2023 in the Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands. The meeting started with a message welcome from Dr. Saqeb Talebi, Vice President of Research and Director of International relations of the the Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands, on behalf of Dr. Alizadeh, the president of this institute.
During this meeting, Dr. Valinasab, Director of the office of Scientific Cooperation and International Relations of AREEO stated that the purpose of holding this meeting was to exchange the experiences and capabilities of affiliated institutions in establishing international relations and to use the capacities of specialized organizations.
While explaining the need for the presentation of the program by the international relations departments, he considered this action in line with the policy making of the country's macro program and emphasized the special consideration of the deputy minister and the respected president of the AREEO in the targeted and planned follow-up of international activities. In the following, Dr. Hajivand gave explanations regarding the summary of submitted programs  by the institutes, and  Dr. Amir Hosseini gave a brief report on the process of registering the application for sabbaticals.  Dr. Zamani informed the attendees about the success achieved in paying membership fees in specialized organizations despite the problems and obstacles of financial exchanges and the restrictions caused by sanctions. 
Then the international officials of all institutions presented their action reports in the meeting according to the schedule and reviewed the general plans of their future multi-year plans in the meeting.
The  report of Razi institute’s actions was presented by the head of  international relations, Dr. Rainak Ghaderi and the future plans of the institute which were previously approved in the meetings of the council of deputy directors of the institute, were reviewed. Based on the plans, the future international activities of the institute were planned in the following three areas:
• Expansion of international cooperation in line with the development of the portfolio of biological products (medical and veterinary)
• Technology exchange for the production of biological products with the aim of achieving a new generation of vaccines
• Promotion of export markets of biological products
In this regard, it was recommended to use the capacity of the economic experts of the representative offices of the Islamic Republic of Iran and prioritize the communication with the countries recommended by the Ministry of foreign Affairs, the use of the existing memorandums between the countries and the capacity of the economic desks of the countries.
In anticipation of the two-year program, the programs of Razi Institute were presented under the following headings:
 
• knowledge transfer
• Basic problems and obstacles in advancing international goals
• Target countries for cooperation
• International institutions and organizations
• Participation/organization of international conferences, conventions and congresses
• Memorandums and international agreements
• Exchange of scientists
• International grants / National Elite Foundation
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Valinasab, while appreciating the efforts of all the guests, presented the certificates of appreciation for the activities of the international departments of "Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute" and "Forests and Rangelands Research Institute" as two leading institutes in attracting international cooperation. 
While congratulating the honorable Dr. Ali Es-haghi, Director General, and the honorable deputies for supporting the international activities and all the colleagues of the international office and other related departments who provided the basis for achieving this success with their cooperation and efforts, there is hope in the development of strategic plans in this field.
