In honor of a century-long valuable services of the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, a one-day seminar was held to prepare to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of this institute by inviting agents and researchers in the field of health and intangible heritage  of the country.
According to the Public Relations report of Razi Institute, a one-day seminar to prepare to  celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Razi Institute was held with the invitation of Dr. Mohammad Gouya, a pioneer in the field of health and faculty member of Iran Medical Sciences University, Dr. Atosa Momeni, head of the country's intangible Heritage center, Dr. Mostafavi, a faculty member of Pasteur  Institute of Iran, Dr. Shams al-Dini, an independent researcher of the history of medicine, a group of researchers from the scientific and medical community of the country, and with the presence of board of directors of Razi institute and some of the managers and officials of this institute in Dr. Morteza Kaveh Hall.
In this meeting, Dr. Marzieh Kazemi, the secretary of the seminar and a faculty member of the History of Science Department of the Islamic Encyclopedia, while expressing that the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute will turn one hundred years old in 2025, stated: This is a very important event in the history of health, well-being and treatment of the Iranian society in this century and the health and longevity of three generations of the great Iranian community owes to the establishment of this institute and the valuable research and achievements of its diligent and hardworking researchers.
She said: This seminar will serve as an introduction to the conference commemorating the centenary of the institute in the next two years, and the purpose of today's meeting is to reach some benchmarks based on which we would be able to hold a meeting in the near future befitting the importance of the institute and its profound and gratified history.
The secretary of the seminar added: This meeting is the result of joint planning and cooperation of the History of Science Department of the Islamic Encyclopedia and a group of honorable faculty members of the Razi Institute, and since the last month, while setting up frequent and regular meetings in two centers, the necessary follow-ups and measures have been started.
 
Dr. Kazemi, while stating that in this conference invited guests and researchers from outside the institute would be going to give speeches, explained that: this institute has also attracted the attention of researchers in field of history and the medical sciences, and this is an important criterion in determining the scientific status and historical importance of Razi institute.
The secretary of the conference hoped that this meeting could provide a clear picture of the history and historiography of Razi Institute.
This meeting was held on the issues of "Razi Institute, past, present and future", "explaining the importance and necessity of supporting the activity of the institute" and "expressing the services of Razi Institute at the national and international level and combating biological threats". The guests gave their opinions and suggestions on the occasion of commemorating the 100th anniversary of Razi Institute and the position of this institute in the health field of the country
