A delegate from the Ministry of Agriculture of Qatar, headed by Mr. Hassan Gibran Al Hiyari, deputy director general of livestock affairs, visited Razi Vaccine & Serum Research Institute on Tuesday 9 May, 2023.
Dr. Ali Es-haghi, General Director of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute welcomed the delegate and introduced the activities of Razi institute in the two fields of research and production of biological products, Dr. Ali Es-haghi stated that: Most of the vaccines needed by Iran's livestock and poultry are manufactured in Razi institute, and many neighboring countries also demand the products of Razi institute.
Mr. Al Hiyari expressed his satisfaction of the capacities at Razi institute and inquired the production of vaccines based on the local strains in Qatar regarding the diseases of Newcastle, FMD, and CCPP.
Dr. Es-haghi added: Razi institute is ready to collaborate with the Ministry of Agriculture of Qatar in the field of scientific exchanges, technology transfer, export of livestock and poultry vaccines and custom production of the poultry and animal vaccines which are needed in the state of Qatar.
At the end of this meeting, the Qatari delegation visited the Museum of Razi institute.
