CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE TRAINING COURSE FOR MALIAN EXPERTS /ORGANIZING INTERNATIONAL WEBINARS AND WORKSHOPS
On Wednesday 5th July, Razi Institute organized the closing ceremony of the training course for the Malian experts in Kaveh Hall, where Dr. Soheila Moradi Bidhendi, the Deputy Director of Research and Technology,   announced that  Razi Institute  is to hold  international events in cooperation with WOAH and FAO.

According to the Public Relations report of the Razi Institute, Dr.  Moradi Bidhandi, in the closing ceremony of the training course titled "Production, Control and Quality Assurance of Vaccines and Maintenance of Related Equipment", which was attended by the Malian experts, some managers and other staff involved in  holding of this training course, expressed her satisfaction with the two-week presence of the invited guests from Mali at the Razi Institute: This course, like other courses held at Razi Institute in the past years, was successfully completed and once again we would like to announce that the main organizations responsible for the above course were Iran Veterinary Organization (IVO), Razi Institute along with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Tehran University.

She added: "After holding this course,  Razi Institute would  hold international webinars with the collaboration of WOAH and FAO benefiting from the expertise of of Razi Institute and IVO in these webinars. She also expressed her hope that the Malian delegate will get many advantages and benefits from this course and that this course could be beneficial for the health promotion in the country of Mali.    

Dr.  Parvaneh Seifouri,   deputy of the National Diagnostic Center, Reference Laboratories and Applied Studies of IVO, also expressed her appreciation for the sincere cooperation of the Razi Institute in transferring its knowledge and experience to the experts and veterinarians of the country of Mali and said: "We hope that this course will be a new horizon for more participation in holding international courses in the future and in the next stages, more  complementary  training  courses can be provided for the experts present in this course and other courses.

Dr. Afshin  Hadjizadeh, Supervisor of this training course at Razi Institute said: This course was a response to a need at the international level at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Veterinary Organization, and really showed some of the scientific and technical capabilities of the Razi Institute in the national and international arena.

According to Dr. Hadjzade, this course was held in cooperation with  IVO,azi Institute, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Tehran University and Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center. Presenting a report on this two-week training course, he talked about the agenda of this training course and added: "On 28 May 2023, a Malian  team consisting of eight experts in the field of production of bacterial and viral animal vaccines from  veterinary center of Mali and  technicians in the field of lyophilization of  vaccines arrived to Iran and, the two technical  trainees  started their training course in the  Engineering Management of Razi Institute on 3rd June,2023.

As per Dr. Hajizadeh, various departments of Razi Institute including the Directorate Department, International Relations - Public Relations, Security Management, Engineering Management, Human Resource Management, PIT Department, Business Management, Quality Control Management, Management of System Improvement and Document Audit, Animal Viral Vaccine Production Management, Animal Bacterial Vaccine Production Management, Poultry Vaccine Production Management and Human VaccinesProduction Management took part in this two-week training course.

According  to Dr. Hadjizade, some achievements of this training course includes showing Razi Institute's technical and scientific capabilities at the national and international level, increasing cooperation in line with fulfilling joint projects with IVO, strengthening and improving the position of Razi Institute in the national and international dimension, collecting a valuable educational collection, increasing intra-organizational motivation and collective participation, identifying instructors' capabilities in holding international courses and providing the background for taking better and more steps in the international dimension.
Dr. Hajizadeh added: Conducting joint research in the areas of disease diagnosis, isolation of pathogens and production of vaccines from local strains; the possibility of exchanging vaccine seeds; exporting vaccines to Mali; transferring technical knowledge to Mali; establishing a sale office in the country of Mali; establishing a joint production line in the country of Mali, sending colleagues to provide advice and training, using the experience of the country of Mali in collaboration with PANVAC of Ethiopia to obtain certificates for livestock and poultry vaccines, and implementing similar programs with other countries are among the opportunities that have come out of this training workshop.

Dr. Rainak Ghaderi, Head of International Affairs of Razi Institute, spoke about the importance of such valuable courses and reminded that Razi Institute is open and ready for any new international online event.
As part of the closing ceremony of this two-week training course, the best lecturers of the Razi Institute were selected by the Malian experts, Dr. Mohammad Reza Shah Karmi, the head of the Department of Education and Scientific Development, Dr. Sina Soleimani, the director of quality control of biological products, and Engineer Ali Yousef Vand, the electrical expert of the Razi Institute, were recognized and honored as the best lecturers.
A letter of appreciation was awarded to all those involved in this 2-week training course.
