According to Razi institute’s Public Relations, at the the meeting of the heads of the international relations offices of the centers and institutes under the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO) which was held at Razi institute on Sunday 14 May, 2023, Dr. Rainak Ghaderi, head of international affairs office said: this meeting was held with the aim to synergize the knowledge of communication and collaboration with international centers and to map out the best strategies while the sanctions are effective.
Dr. Ghaderi added: to strengthen and expand international communication and exchange experiences with the regional and international organizations and centers are among the strategic plans of the Razi institute. Strengthening and developing international relations in Razi institute as strategic center is essential, and the implemented actions and future plans have been in line with this goal.
Determining the target countries and promoting interactions with organizations and increasing the volume of joint projects with similar institutions with a technology-oriented and production-oriented approach are listed as the strategic plans of this institute. He added: Last year, measures have been taken to achieve this goal. This year, these goals will be pursued along with explaining new perspectives to strengthen the position of Razi institute in the international arena.
Dr. Ghaderi while mentioning a joint meeting with some Cuban officials and scientists and also a visit by a high-ranking delegate from Zimbabwe, added: to register Razi institute’s products in WHO, to export medical and veterinary vaccines, to facilitate the vaccine registration in target countries, to dispatch some researchers to visit the WHO’s reference laboratory in Thailand, to hold some specialized webinars by inviting an Iranian researcher in Switzerland and to send some researcher to international seminars, to hold some training courses for the researchers of the target country, to take some measures for getting the EUL of WHO about Razi COV PARS vaccine and to develop the international collaborations with China are among the activities to extend the joint collaborations of Razi institute with international centers and institutes.
He also announced the interaction with the FAO as of holding joint scientific workshops, as well as negotiating and meeting with Indian vaccine manufacturers and developing joint cooperation with this country.
