According to the public relations report of Razi Institute, Dr. Soheila Moradi Bidhandi , deputy for Research and Technology of Razi Institute on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the one-month Uzbekistan expert training course held on Tuesday October 26,2023 in Razi Institute said: “In line with the development of joint cooperation between the two countries of Iran and Uzbekistan and with the support of Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jahad and Head of Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO), educational workshops in the field of agriculture and veterinary medicine were held for a team of eight experts from Uzbekistan in affiliated institutions and centers of the AREEO organization”.
She said: Among the educational workshops, Razi Institute was introduced as the organizer and executer of a one-month course for one of these experts regarding the production of veterinary vaccines. This expert accompanied by Dr. Najmeh Motamed, a faculty member of the institute, as the senior supervisor of the project visited the different production and research departments of the Razi Institute and the necessary trainings were provided to him by the members of the academic staffs and experts of the institute.
According to the Deputy of research and technology of the Razi Institute, the expansion of scientific cooperation between the two countries, the optimal use of the existing capacities in the field of technology and innovation of knowledge-based companies, the training of young researchers of Uzbekistan, and the presence of some Iranian companies in Uzbekistan, are among the achievements of this memorandum.
It is worth noting that; Razi Institute held this training course after the completion of the special training workshop for Mali experts, aimed at familiarizing the Uzbek expert with the methods of manufacturing vaccines and biological products, including pathogens isolation, identification, diagnosis and preparation of standard seeds , vaccine manufacture , control and quality assurance.
