and advisor to the director general of the Razi Institute mentioned that the
SabaSaba International Exhibition is an annual event, recognized as the largest
trade fair in East Africa, organized by the Tanzania Trade Development
Organization.
He further highlighted that the exhibition,
which attracts participants from around the globe, was dedicated as "Iran
Day," bringing together Iranian governmental and private sectors to
showcase their products and services. Dr. Akbarian emphasized the importance of
the Razi Institute's export priorities, especially in the current year, viewing
participation in this exhibition as a valuable opportunity to introduce the Razi
Institute's products and services to African countries.
Alongside the exhibition, necessary

and services offerings.
On
behalf of Dr. Ali Es-haghi the Director General of Razi Institute, a letter of speech
was read to all the guests and attendees. In this statement, Razi Institute was
introduced with all of its capabilities and qualifications, its century-long
tireless and persistent effort to save millions of lives of humans and animals,
and its research activities which paved many ways to manufacture many of the
vital vaccines needed by the health community. Organizing many training
workshops for African experts and trainees from Mali, Mauritania, and Senegal was
another important point emphasized by the Director General of the Razi Institute which showed the thorough good
faith of the Razi Institute to share its knowledge and expertise with other
nations especially African Countries. According to Dr. Es-haghi, this institute
successfully managed to eradicate and control some lethal diseases such as
polio which was a big challenge in jeopardizing the children's lives by itself,
Rinderpest in castles, which as it goes without saying, was an extremely detrimental
threat for Iran’s health and food security in its incidence. Planning to
commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Razi Institute shortly and redefine
the ambitions and aspirations of Razi Institute and its committed staff to save
human and animal health as their duty and task was also enumerated in Dr.
Es-haghi’s Speech.
It
is worth mentioning that the “Iran’s Day” of this expo hosted some high-ranking
officials including Iran’s ambassador to Tanzania, Iran’s Embassy top-ranking
staff to Tanzania, and some key figures from the business, research, and
medical sectors of Tanzania and export
capacities and opportunities of the Razi Institute were also on the roundtable.
Ultimately,
the Razi Institute delegation participated B2B sessions with Tanzanian officials
specializing in vaccine research, production, and regulatory sectors.
