The event, titled "WHO workshop on implementation of international standards for quality control of polio vaccines including OPV and IPV," was held from October 31^st to November  2^nd, 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event included three days of sessions dedicated to a range of topics related to quality control of polio vaccines, and participants discussed the way forward for implementing these standards into practice.

This event hosted experts and researchers from Razi Institute, who engaged in a debateful Q&A session at the end of it. During this mission, Razi Institute’s colleagues visited Biofarma, the largest pharmaceutical company in Indonesia.

Overall, the WHO workshop provided a valuable opportunity for Razi Institute to learn about current international standards for quality control of polio vaccines, and to exchange knowledge and share best practices with peers and counterparts in the field.
