The meeting with officials from Zimbabwe focused on discussions regarding commercial exchanges in vaccine exports and technology transfer. The Razi Institute's product package, which includes medical vaccines, anti-venom serums, and vaccines for livestock and poultry, was presented during the discussions.
This meeting signifies the continuous efforts to enhance mutual relations and promote the consumption of vaccines and biological products from the Razi Institute in Zimbabwe. These efforts initially began last year with the visit of Zimbabwe's Minister of Agriculture to the institute.
Furthermore, discussions with the Minister of Trade and Industrial Development of Zanzibar and the Head of the Trade Development Organization of Zambia and Tanzania emphasized the importance of utilizing vaccines and products from the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute in these countries.
An important aspect of the meeting was the plan for Razi Institute's managers to visit Tanzania and Zambia during the 9th Joint Market Meeting of Iran and Africa, scheduled for late May this year.
These discussions focused on facilitating communication between the Razi Institute and commercial entities in these countries, highlighting the institute's rich history and the interest in Iranian products.
The meeting also saw the announcement of government support for establishing commercial relations between the Razi Institute and traders from both nations.
Officials from the Razi Institute, including Dr. Mohammad Hossein Fallah Mehrabadi, the Deputy Director of Biological Manufacturing, Dr. Rainak Ghaderi, the Head of Academic Relations and International Affairs, and other institute officials, were also present during the discussions.
