January 6, 2025-During the centenary celebration of Razi Vaccine & Serum Research Institute, the World Health Organization (WHO) representative in Iran, Syed Jaffar Hussain, praised the institute as one of the few global centers capable of producing recombinant and intranasal vaccines.
Iran's President, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, honored the 100th anniversary of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute (RVSRI) with a message read by Minister of Agriculture-Jahad, Dr. Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh, at a formal ceremony attended by high-ranking officials.
TEHRAN – On January 5, 2025, as Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute (RVSRI) marked its 100th anniversary, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations extended congratulations to the institute in recognition of its century-long excellence in veterinary science and research. In a video message, Dr. Thanawat Tiensin, Assistant Director General and Director of FAO’s Animal Production and Health Division commended RVSRI for its pivotal contributions to combating livestock diseases and enhancing animal health worldwide.
