On Monday, July 22, 2024, the Bureau of International Affairs and Specialized Organizations of the Ministry of Agriculture-Jahad hosted a meeting with a delegation from Algeria at the Ministry of Agriculture-Jahad headquarters building.
The 23rd International Exhibition of Poultry, Livestock & Related Industries, known as Iran PLEX 2024, kicked off with the presence of esteemed national officials at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground. Among the key figure present were Mohammad Ali Nikbakht, Minister of Agriculture-Jahad; Ruhollah Dhegihan Firouzabadi, Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy and President of the National Elite Foundation; Mohammad Javad Asgari, Chairman of the Parliament's Agriculture Commission; Dr. Mojtaba Norouzi, Deputy Minister and Head of Iran Veterinary Organization; Dr. Ali Es-haghi, Director-General of the Razi Institute, and other officials. The event was inaugurated at the Persian Gulf Hall of the Tehran International Exhibition.
From July 16 to 19, the JAICA (Japanese International Cooperation Agency) organized a Regional Seminar for Focal Points for Veterinary Laboratories, alongside the 4th Regional Meeting for Reference Centers in Asia and the Pacific. Represented by Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ebrahimi Jam, the head of the Viral Vaccine Department and WOAH Sheep and Goat Pox Reference Laboratory at the Razi Institute, the Razi Institute actively took part in this event.
