The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Of The Islamic Republic of Iran Extends its Gratitude to Razi Institute for its Vital Role in the Recent United Nations Side Event in Switzerland, Geneva.

Following the successful execution of the side event titled "Cooperation and Development in Biological Sciences and Technologies: Benefits and Obstacles," held on August 20 during the Fourth Meeting of the Working Group on Strengthening the Biological Weapons Convention at UN Headquarters, the Ministry commends the Razi Institute for its significant contributions to vaccine and serum research and production as well as its supportive role in organizing this side event. Furthermore, the Ministry highlights the outstanding presentation by Dr. Rainak Ghaderi, the head of Academic Relations and International Affairs of Razi Institute, which greatly enriched the discussions and positively influenced the attending member states.

Razi Institute Achieves Major Breakthrough in Vaccine Logistics for Iran's Polio Vaccination Program, Saving 186 Billion Rials

In a significant advancement for Iran's public health sector, the Academic Relations and International Affairs Office of Razi Institute has successfully acquired critical Vaccine Vial Monitor (VVM) labels for RVSRI’s polio vaccine, overcoming the challenges posed by stringent U.S. sanctions that have restricted access for nearly two years. This achievement resulted from a collaborative effort among multiple Iranian ministries, the World Health Organization (WHO), Razi Institute’s deputy of Planning and Logistics, along its Commercial Affairs Management.
